It is alarming to learn statistics regarding mental health counseling. They are:
• Amid a treatment shift from inpatient to outpatient settings, a growing opioid epidemic, and increased health insurance coverage, demand for the Mental Health Counseling industry has grown over the five years to 2021.
• As a result, revenue is expected to grow an annualized 3.3% over the five years to 2021, totaling $26.1 billion.
• While the industry is expected to experience significant growth over the five years to 2021, this annualized revenue increase includes an expected contraction of 3.8% in 2020 alone. The decline in 2020 is directly attributed to the COVID-19 (coronavirus) outbreak and its ensuing disruption on the domestic economy, including job loss and loss of insurance coverage.
• Nonetheless, industry revenue is expected to make a 4.7% recovery in 2021.
• Industry demand growth is expected to continue following the pandemic, increasing at an annualized rate of

3.7% to reach $31.2 billion over the five years to 2026.

It provides practical strategies and interventions for approaching and healing from traumatic childhood events. Megan’s expertise lies in guiding individuals to assess their current lives in connection with past unresolved events, and most importantly, to embark on a journey of healing.

This workshop is not just about acknowledging past pain; it’s about genuinely healing the mind, body, and heart—the very essence of one’s soul. Megan firmly believes that in order to move forward in life, it is essential to heal the wounds of the past thoroughly.

Through her workshop, she empowers participants to break free from emotional bondage and live their lives free from pain, grief, and shame.

Honestly, I cannot say enough about my experience with Megan. I was referred to Megan by someone I highly admire and respect and when we first started working together, I was going through a very difficult time in my life. I had experienced quite a bit of family trauma and had just come out of a relationship where I had dealt with years of narcissistic abuse. I was stuck feeling emotionally withdrawn, struggling with attachment wounds and unable to form meaningful relationships. Megan was an absolute answer to prayer – she is compassionate, friendly and warm, but also measured, reasonable and logical. Her approach is rooted in evidenced-based practices, and she empowers you to solve your problems on your own, making sure to always promote your autonomy and independence. She assigns homework and provides tangible skills that you can use to make real changes and grow. I never felt rushed, (no sudden & well, our time is up and I always felt that she was really listening to me without judgement. The tools that Megan has equipped me with have made an enormous difference in my life and I’ve finally gotten to a place where I feel inner peace. I honestly cannot thank her enough for all she did for me. I highly recommend!!

Megan really helped me to focus on myself – and understand that instead of being selfish, like I always thought that was, it was absolutely necessary. It was not a “nice to have,” but a “need to have”…Focusing on myself didn’t mean letting myself off the hook – the opposite. I had to take responsibility for myself. I had to be my own anchor. I had to mind my own business. I had to be my best cheerleader. I had to focus inward, not outward – but w love, not judgment…. “Love your neighbor as yourself” starts with yourself for a reason – you can “do unto others” if you don’t do unto yourself first. There is actually no other way. Megan helped me understand why…. Instead of being caught up in what other people were or weren’t doing in my life – and being aggrieved by that all the time – she showed me how I had to be caught up in what -I- was doing. For myself. By myself. Because that’s where it all starts…We met for six sessions over about two months, and to be honest, I didn’t think that was going to be enough at the outset…but I went from feeling stuck to unstuck. From feeling lost to being able to navigate things on my own… Talking to Megan was not like talking to a therapist. It was like talking to a friend who is more loving, more kind, more wise, (and more funny!) than you…you listen and still feel heard at the same time… I’m so grateful for our conversations, and I would highly recommend Megan to anyone and everyone looking for some extra help or support.
